      Hi, this is your author, Maliha Bhat! I live in the Bay Area, California, and am a 9th grader at Menlo Atherton High School. In middle school, I had a health scare that made me curious about the science behind medicine. Since then, I’ve become more and more interested in genetics, bioinformatics, and women’s health science.

       I started this blog because I love learning about new discoveries and sharing them in a way that makes sense to other students. Here, you’ll find my thoughts on current events in science and medicine, as well as a monthly highlight of a cool new discovery or inspiring story.
